Participation Fee

The Participation Fee for a Men's and/or Women's Team to compete in the 5th AIDA Freediving Team World Championship is 595 Euro per competing athlete; 495 Euro per non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain.

The Participation Fee includes:

  • Airport Transfers
  • Accommodation on Half-Board Basis for Eleven Nights
  • Opening and Closing Ceremonies
  • Seminars and Extra Activities
  • Three Constant Weight Training Days
  • Three Constant Weight Competition Days (including one Contigency Day)
  • Three Static Apnea Training Days
  • Three Dynamic Apnea Training Days
  • Static Apnea Competition
  • Dynamic Apnea Competition
  • AIDA Judges
  • Anti-Doping Tests

Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate

If you represent an AIDA-National (or other Freediving Organization if your country has no AIDA National) and you would like to send a Men's and/or Women's Team to compete, then the very first step is to Register your Team(s) Intent to Participate!

So how does your Team(s) complete Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate?  Simply download the Registration Step 1 Form above, fill it out in its entirety and e-mail it to wc@apneaegypt.com before the Deadline of August 31, 2006.

By completing Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate, before the Deadline of August 31, 2006 you will be afforded a 50 Euro discount per competing athlete; non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain!  Thus making the Participation Fee 545 Euro per person for the competing athlete's and the non-competing alternate athlete and captain or coach, 445 Euro per person.

If the Registration Step 1 Form was not received at wc@apneaegypt.com by August 31, 2006 you will not receive the 50 Euro discount per competing athlete, non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain.

Registration Step 2 - Confirmation of Participation

After completing Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate, the next step is to Register your Team(s) Confirmation of Participation.

When you complete Registration Step 2 - Confirmation of Participation by the Deadline of October 16, 2006 you will be awarded a discount of 75 Euro per competing athlete; non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain.

If you met the first discount deadline of Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate and you meet this second discount deadline then you've brought the Participation Fee of 595 Euro down to only 470 Euro per competing athlete and the Participation Fee of 495 Euro per non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain down to only 370 Euro!

So how does your Team(s) complete Registration Step 2 - Confirmation of Participation? Simply download the "Registration Step 2 Form" above, fill it out in its entirety and e-mail it to wc@apneaegypt.com just as you did for Registration Step 1 - Intent to Participate.

The most important part of Registration Step 2 - Confirmation of Participation, is that in order for your team to receive the additional 75 Euro discount per person, you must send by Bank Transfer (details on Registration Step 2 Form) the Team(s) Participation Fee's for each competing athlete, non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain in it's entirety, by the Deadline of October 16, 2006.

If the Registration Step 2 Form was not received at wc@apneaegypt.com and the total amount owed for your Team(s) was not received via Bank Transfer by October 16, 2006, you will not receive the additional 75 Euro discount per competing athlete, non-competing alternate athlete and coach or captain.

Please be advised that if you miss the discount deadline of October 16, 2006 you will need to transfer the total amount (without a discount) no later than the Final Registration Date of November 2, 2006!
