The Constant Weight Competition will be held in the official dive site of Team Egypt which is located in a sheltered bay with very calm, clear conditions. The site is barely 100 meters from the shore, leading to a depth of 130 meters plus. Horizontal visibility is 30-40 meters plus and vertical visibility is 25-30 meters.

Due to the excellent conditions that our dive site offers, it is undoubtedly not only better for the Freedivers performance but from a safety standpoint it is also beneficial for the technical diving team as they are not put at the added risk that cold water and poor visibility may produce.

The desert climate affords us very pleasant weather conditions in the Winter. In December the average water temperature is 25-26 C, the average air temperature is 25-27 C and on the beaufort wind scale the average wind strength is 4-7.
